PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated July 13, 2026

Short version

The current Trapahaulic beta does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or in-app purchases. The game code does not intentionally send your chosen player name, progress, inventory, settings, or game history to the developer.

Information stored on your device

Your game progress and preferences are stored locally by your browser or installed app. This may include your chosen fictional player name, game progress, inventory, settings, and story history. This information remains on that device unless you export a save file and move it yourself.

Save export and deletion

An exported save is a JSON file created on your device. You control where it goes. Keep it private because it contains your game progress and chosen player name. You can delete game information by starting a new game, clearing the site or app data, or uninstalling the app.

Hosting and network records

When you use the web beta, the hosting and network providers may automatically process ordinary technical records such as IP address, request time, browser type, and requested files to deliver and secure the service. Trapahaulic does not use those records to build advertising profiles.

Children

Trapahaulic is not directed to children under 13 and contains mature fictional crime themes. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.

Future features

If accounts, cloud saves, analytics, advertising, multiplayer features, or payments are added, this policy and the applicable store privacy disclosures must be updated before those features are released.
